Setmash.com is a php/MySQL platform hosted on the Rackspace cloud and incorporates what one can expect to find on a modern social media website: - secure login - mobile friendly - friend system - chat system - photo sharing - custom single/multiple file uploader - video sharing - custom youtube plugin - real time AJAX-based notifications - custom search engine with real time suggestions - page creation system What separates Setmash from the rest is the page creation system: Setmash uses a block system which works as well on mobile as it does on desktop applications. A block can have up-to 3 cells. A cell can either be: - text - image - video The user chooses the block, the cell type and populates the cell with content from their photo galleries, video playlists or text input. My goal is to enable users to visit Setmash and start creating without having to use plugins or instructions. Easy to share vacation adventures or as a blog platform. Simple and straight forward design.
